We need you!

We are seeking a human performance specialist.  This is a strategic need and so you need to work closely with the Director of Human Performance and Strategic Initiatives, HR team and management to drive recruitment, contracting, HR records, policies and procedures and performance management.

 

Passion, grit and a positive attitude are a must. This is a fast growing company, and you will be integral to the team’s wellbeing and we scale rapidly. 
 

You'll be required to be strategic rather than reactive, assessing the skills and knowledge requirements within the organisation and determine what is needed to maximise the performance of each individual.  You will work within the Human Performance team and will link with the recruitment, onboarding and internal training functions to ensure a holistic approach to our talent. 

You will also need to be involved in the general day-to-day human performance functions as needed by the team as a whole.

To do!

  • Recruitment:

    • Drive recruitment by continuously assessing recruitment needs in the company globally, working with relevant department leads to assess skills needed, and ensure staff are in place in a timely manner
       

    • Conduct candidate interviews Send out offer letters and contracts for those who have passed our rigorous process
       

    • Facilitate negotiations where needed 
       

  • Administration

    • Maintain job descriptions and formulate career planning documents
       

    • Maintain HR records 
       

    • Drive upkeep of policies and procedure documents
       

  • Performance Management

    • Drive the upkeep of the performance management process globally, staying abreast of global best practice and iterating as appropriate 
       

    • Work across departments to recognize training needs across the company and develop a coherent, company-wide training plan
       

    • Ensure all training is conducted across and within teams, and conduct some HR training as needed 
       

    • Amend and revise programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment
       

    • Keep up to date with developments in performance management by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending relevant courses

The key skills required for this role are:

  • Sense of humour and positive attitude

  • Proven ability to self-motivate and work independently as well as part of a
    multi-disciplinary squad 
     

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills and ability to work to deadlines
     

  • Ability to build and maintain good relationships 
     

  • Ability to communicate confidently, clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal form 
     

  • Able to effectively use online collaboration tools like Slack, Zoom, and Google Docs
     

  • Experience with implementing enhancements and providing creative solutions in both structured and unstructured environments
     

  • Strong written and/or verbal communication skills
