We need you!

We're seeking and Account Director with a special cocktail of skills.

For this role, you must be passionate about people and forging strong, long-lasting relationships - both with your client stakeholders and with your co-workers, who sit in offices around the globe. You should be extremely detail-oriented, and enjoy the process so much that when there isn't a process, you take pride in creating one. We expect you to be both fiercely independent and deeply collaborative - you must be able to work hard without oversight and communicate early and often with your project teams.

As an Account Director you'll be responsible for both Sales and Delivery across a number of existing clients. You will need to develop a deep understanding of both your client'd DNA and the services we offer, so that you are their trusted advisor in developing their programs and courses. Being responsible for delivery, you will need to take hands on accountability for successful implementation and be capable of dropping into the detail as required. Success will be determine by Profitability, Sales, and Client Satisfaction.

You must be willing to travel, sometimes for extended periods, to be successful in this role. You will work in a young and vibrant team to deliver high quality digital learning experiences. Accommodation, travel and other expenses will be covered. To do:

Team Management:

  • Oversight, coordination, management and supervision of various delivery teams around the world using these tools to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget

  • Lead the project managers working on your accounts

  • Make sure they stick to budgets and deliver on time

  • Perform a leadership role in your office

Project Management:

  • Support your project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget

  • Present regular reports on client accounts to management team

  • Drive improvement in delivery effectiveness and efficiency within your teams and ensure this is shared globally as required

  • Compile, analyze, and report data to understand changes to the market as a result of digitization and act on this understanding

  • Develop tools in excel or other programs to collect, analyze, and report on project status, budgeting, and costing

Managing Key Client Accounts:

  • Partner with a portfolio of global clients and grow your account portfolio

  • Manage the seamless delivery of our products and exceptional client service

  • Prepare regular reports on account status and manage project budgets

  • Drive further business opportunities with existing partners

Support Business Development:

  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and drive opportunities

  • Work with the management team on strategic projects and improvement initiatives

  • Support sales team up-sell or cross-sell services and products

  • Study competition to find new ways to attract and retain clients

  • Represent Construct at conferences, events, or other marketing opportunities

You'll Need to be Good at:

  • Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction, and measurement of effects

  • Knowledge and experience with agile software development

  • Commercial reasoning

  • Knowledge of economic and accounting principles, analysis and reporting of financial data and extensive ability regarding reporting, analysis and presentation

  • 2+ years managing teams of more than 5 people

  • 5+ years in the education industry with an understanding of the global context of education delivery. Experience studying in multiple countries is an asset

  • Experience in autonomous decision making and problem solving​

  • People management, especially with a global project team

  • Developing trusted advisor relationships​

  • Juggling multiple projects at a time​​​

  • Maintaining a sharp attention to detail

  • Driving continuous improvement in the quality of products and service

  • Previous exposure to Learning Design and supporting technologies, or an enthusiasm to learn
